  • Sanjeev Asthana is a recognized leader in Food & Agri business with over 22 years of work experience in India & Internationally

  • Worked in Retail with Wal-Mart and Spencer’s in key positions of food merchandising and operations head. As Business Head at Spencer’s Retail, grew the business by 20% and EBIDTA by 200%.

  • Srinivas has over 10 years experience in varied functional buckets in the Food and Agribusiness Supply Chain viz., Farm Inputs, Farm Output, FarmKuchibhotla_Srinivas.jpg services, Fruits and Vegetables, Agri-Infrastucture (Back-end supply chain) and Retail Store Operations (Food and Grocery).
  • Srinivas has expertise in architecturing business processes & designs, conceptualizing and rolling out new businesses with desired success with short time span.
  • During the stint with Reliance Retail, Srinivas was instrumental in conceptualization and setting up of Agri-infrastructure model (collection centers) for procurement of fruits and vegetables in rural hinterland; Complete strategy and operations for the model were drawn under his leadership.
  • Srinivas also developed the wholesale infrastructure model facing consumers for food retail in 8 cities of urban India; Under his leadership, complete design conceptualization, strategy & operational framework and roll out was done. After rolling out the format, Srinivas, as Operations Head (South Zone) for the Wholesale Distribution Model, had built a annual business turnover of Rs 40 Cr during the first year of its inception.
  • Prior to Reliance Retail, Srinivas was associated with DCM Shriram Consolidated Limited (DSCL) as State Marketing Head (Agri-Inputs). He was instrumental in established business operations & introducing “Shriram” brand to trade and farmers in Andhra Pradesh (AP); He build a turnover of 15 Cr. within a year of launch of the business in the state.
  • Prior to the above role, Srinivas was the Divisional Marketing Head (Agri Inputs), for select districts of Rajasthan. He build the turnover from 45 to 53 Cr and EBITDA by 10% within a year of assuming the responsibility.
  • During the tenure with DSCL, he conceptualized and implemented several "Shriram" brand building activities; One such noted "Shriram" brand building program was “Shyam Jagran” at Malakhera, Alwar which was was attended by more than 10,000 farming families.
  • Srinivas holds Masters Degree in Agriculture (Specialized in Agronomy) and PGDM in Agribusiness Management from MANAGE.

    • Chunchreek has over 5 years of entrepreneurial, private equity investments and financial consulting experience.
    • Formerly, he was the Founder Director, You-Beaut Network Solutions and Bhagyoday Sansthan, ventures promoting smart cards technology and education in Rajasthan, respectively; Associate - new funds and investments at Duet Group’s SARE USD 450 Mn Private Equity Fund; Consultant, Financial Advisory Services at Deloitte.
    • Assisted the CEO, SARE Group in evaluating propositions for establishing new PE Funds focusing at Hotels, Hospitals and Education industries, in addition to his role of an Investment Associate at the Residential Real Estate Fund. At the real estate division, he effectively participated in fund raising exercises (USD 360 Mn raised), investment opportunity evaluations (USD 250 Mn deployed), valuation reporting and investment appraisals, as well as assistance in operations management of investee companies.
    • At Deloitte, Chunchreek worked across a broad spectrum of financial advisory services, including business plan validation and valuations, market research, strategy plan development, due diligence and stock verification.
    • During his time at Bhagyoday, 27 students coached at the institute qualified for various Rajasthan Civil Service Positions, and more than 4 Students for Rajasthan Judicial Services. Setting a new standard for coaching for examinations in the state of Rajasthan.
    • He is a graduate in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai University and holds a Masters of Business degree in Strategic Management & Planning from Smurfit School of Business, UC Dublin. A specialists scholar from UC Dublin at REIMS Management School, France, 2004 and an exchange scholar at Eton College, UK, 1999.
